We will custom make a garment to suit your taste in size, style, and color, or choose one of our beauties here.
We use such fabrics as Imperial batiste and broadcloth, linen batiste, lawn, nelona, Bearissima, silks, or a fabric that you choose. Also, we have French and English laces and Swiss embroideries. Our heirloom techniques include lace shaping, pintucking, shark's teeth, Madeira applique, and Seminole lacework. Our embroidery techniques include smocking, crewel, silk ribbon, and shadow work, in cotton or silk floss. Here are some samples of our work. We are best known for our christening gowns and precious baby things, communion dresses, and flower girl dresses, but we have made everyday dresses as well as everyday and dress-up outfits for boys. We have remade wedding gowns into christening and communion dresses. We have created garments from our customers' drawings or pictures and from pictures in magazines or catalogs.
We require a 50% deposit upon ordering and a 4-6 week time frame in which to create the garment you have envisioned. For local orders, we will personally measure the child at the time of the order and then schedule a time for the fitting. For long-distance orders, we will provide a list of the measurements needed.
